GELSON’s Market Plaza Celebrates

25th Anniversary , June 23, 2007

An outdoor Festival to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of Gelson’s MARKET, will be held throughout the Shopping Center on Townsgate Road in Westlake Village, from 10 am to 4 pm, on Saturday June 23rd.

Gelson’s Market and the other merchants in the Center will be providing Free Food samplings by Pierre’s Catering, and from Gelson’s tri-tip BBQ. Home-made Lemonade and other beverages will be complimentary.

The center’s Merchant’s Association will be giving away valuable Gift Certificates from John of Italy Salon & Spa , Michael’s Travel, Huntington Learning Center and others; as well as an array of prizes in a raffle free to all in attendance. Shopkeepers, including the new Cookie Diet store will put out samples of their products or services tables along the sidewalk, and there will be a free drawing for a $ 250 Shopping Spree at Gelson’s, and five other $ 50 Shopping Sprees.

Special Events will include a live bands, an outdoor art display, free Child Fingerprinting service by the Mason’s Lodge, Disaster Prepardness info from the American Red Cross, an exotic animal demonstration by the Animal & Bird Wellness Center , and a Fire Engine inspection tour by Westlake FD for the kids.

Chairs, tables and colorful umbrellas will be brought in for guests and customers to relax and enjoy some free time in the Plaza under the great Oak Tree in the center.
